Copper will oxidize in the air so keeping your piece in an airtight bag, or container will slow that process.

*Oxidizing just means that the copper will darken when exposed to the air for an extended period of time*.

Moisture will speed this process up so keep your piece dry, or dry it thoroughly if it does get wet.

Each order includes a foam polishing pad and instructions on how to gently polish the wire. Treating your piece with the utmost care and caution will help ensure that it lasts.
